Pinea, an articulated project where the main elements of the traditional kitchen cross over, breaking up the linear composition and give strength to the functional elements.
The design reflection starts from the morphologies of the past and reinterprets their shapes in a contemporary look. This is complemented by a specific graphic language that enriches the kitchen façades with a variety of patterns. Experimenting with eco-compatible materials based on the reuse of handcrafted agglomerated grit and sand, the result is a digital aesthetic with a strong natural and material connotation.
Pinea wants to represent a hideaway from daily frenzy, where relaxed conviviality becomes a rebalancing value and where the value of re-establishing a more genuine and respectful approach to food is suggested by the very object in which it is prepared and consumed. Rediscovering primordial emotions in contact with ingredients that celebrate the passion for cooking through the ritual of their transformation. The same emotions felt during the design of Pinea.

“Pinea represents the desire to shelter in one’s own home, a place of authentic hospitality. Where to relax, through the respect of genuine food, prepared to be shared. Conviviality as synonymous with the search for a balance that is found thanks to the care of gestures and attention to detail. Memories and ancestral emotions in contact with ingredients and their transformation. The same emotions that have created and shaped Pinea.”
